Pruning Day a Huge Success!

With over 40 volunteers working throughout the morning and early afternoon, pruning day at the Rehoboth Blueberry Farm today was a huge success. Thanks especially to members of the Habitat for Humanity chapter and others from Olivet Nazarene University, many volunteers from Pembroke, Momence, and surrounding communities, the crew from Indiana, and the crew from Champaign-Urbana. Thanks also to Dave Easter who made several passes around and through the patch with his brush mower, those who provided lunch (including Johari's amazing rice pilaf), and Dr. James Theuri who provided pruning instruction and tools. We'll post more photos later, but here's one taken during our initial gathering.
